MAURA and Curtis have only spent FOUR days together since leaving the Love Island villa two weeks ago.
The couple finished fourth in the show finale on July 29 after being accused of faking their relationship in a bid to win the show.
They have struggled to spend quality time together outside of their work commitments as they jump at the opportunities thrown at them since leaving the villa.
Maura has made her debut as This Morning’s new Agony Aunt, while Curtis has been announced as the new receptionist in The Greatest Dancer.
It’s been non-stop since spending a couple of days in lockdown in Majorca before flying home with their fellow islanders.
Maura and Curtis smooched in front of crowds at London Stansted Airport on July 31 before travelling straight to Maura’s hometown of Ballymahon so that Curtis could win over her mother who seemed unconvinced by the ballroom dancer.
The flying visit was filmed for Love Island: The Reunion where they put on a united front two days later – despite admitting they hadn’t been on a date yet.
In between they managed to grab dinner with Curtis’ brother AJ and his girlfriend Abbie Quinnen on August 3, which appears to have been their only stolen moment outside of work.
The day afterwards Curtis revealed to The Sun he’s open to having a relationship with a man.
The lovebirds have not been seen pictured together since, with most of their social media based on “throwback” pictures.
Maura has since broken her silence on Curtis refusing to put a label on his sexuality, saying: “We are very happy. We are taking things slowly.
“You don’t have to put a label on anything. He makes me happy and I make him happy, that’s all that matters.”
Curtis also gushed about how happy he has been to spend time with Maura outside of the villa on the Reunion show aired on August 4.
He told Caroline: “It’s incredible. You get so close in the villa, you absolutely do, but coming out and just being able to lie in bed and do little things…”
Curtis cut off before admitting: “Even though we haven’t had much time.”
He added: “Just little things have got me closer and closer to Maura.
“I was lying in the bed and she just walked past and undid my shoelaces for me and took my shoes off.”
Within the first two days of landing back in the UK, Maura and Curtis went their separate ways.
Explaining how difficult it was, Curtis told Caroline: “Going to bed for the first time on my own, I felt like something was missing. It was horrible actually, it wasn’t nice.”
Insisting they had kept in constant contact, despite living apart, Maura added: “We were constantly on the phone anyway.”
Curtis promised he would take Maura drifting for their first date, but the pair have struggled to find the time in between hectic work schedules. They’re also yet to make their relationship official.
“I want to take you drifting,” he told his love interest on the Reunion Show.
“Maura is a really good car drifter. I reckon I beat her without any practice. She loves active stuff.”
Curtis shocked fans by “cheating” on his “half-girlfriend” Amy Hart in the villa while she was in Casa Amor.
After failing their first test as a couple, the ballroom dancer admitted the break had made him realise there was something missing in their relationship.
Days later Maura revealing her secret feelings for Curtis, prompting Amy to walk out of the villa.
After winning his affections, Maura coupled up with Curtis and went on to finish fourth.
Yesterday Maura shared a throwback snap of her kissing Curtis on their double date with his brother.
She captioned it: “Not long till I’m back in your arms.”
