IVAN PERISIC has completed his medical ahead of a move to Bayern Munich.
The Inter Milan winger will sign on a initial loan deal with the German champions with a view to buy.
It is reported that the 30-year-old will cost an initial £4.6million fee and another £20m at the end of the season to make it permanent.
The Croatian arrived at Bayern this morning to undergo a series of tests.
Speaking briefly to Bild, he confirmed: “Yeah, I just had the medical check-up.”
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport even reported that Inter boss Antonio Conte offered Perisic as part of the Romelu Lukaku deal.
But a switch to England failed to materialise and Bayern swooped as their need for two wingers intensified.
Both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben left the club this summer and the club were in the market for replacements.
Callum Hudson-Odoi remained their top choice but the Chelsea winger opted to stay and sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
Leroy Sane remained another option but that deal was scuppered following the news that the German will miss the next seven months with an ACL injury.
