What is it?

It is the first headline fixture of the Premier League season as Manchester United host Chelsea. Both teams are now managed by worshipped ex-players who have a mountainous task to get them back amongst the title contenders.

When is it?

Today! Sunday, August 11.

What time is kick-off?

4.30pm.

What TV channel is it on?

You can watch this one on Sky Sports Premier League or Sky Sports Main Event. Alternatively, we will have live updates from the game on this page.

What is the team news?

Manchester United

United will be without defender Eric Bailly for up to five months with a knee injury, but that loss has been offset by the £85m arrival of Harry Maguire from Leicester. Otherwise, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a largely fit squad of players to choose from.

Chelsea

Chelsea look a little light on numbers. Antonio Rudiger will miss the opener with a knee injury, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi are long-term absentees after Achilles surgery.

Manager Frank Lampard is crossing his fingers that N’Golo Kante will overcome a knee problem to face United, but he will not be rushed into action.
