Liverpool are facing a goalkeeper crisis after Alisson Becker was forced off in his side’s comfortable opening night win over Norwich.
Alisson suffered a calf injury which immediately ended his chances of facing Chelsea in Wednesday’s Super Cup Final.
The club’s two junior keepers are also injured, meaning Klopp has only one keeper available for the next few games.
Alisson will undergo a scan this weekend to establish how long he will be absent.
“With Alisson it is not good but we will find a solution and move on,” said Klopp. “He felt his calf. He looked behind him because he thought something hit him. He will not be ready for Wednesday, I can say that already.
“But Adrian is a good goalie. In possession he is calm and he is good at shot-stopping, that’s why we signed him. It’s good for him but we have a little problem with Ali.
“There is nothing bad to say about the game apart from Ali’s injury. We have to see how serious it is. It is the calf and that is it. He could not carry on and that is not a good sign.
