CORONATION Street’s Vicky Jefferies has been blasted for having the most garish home by fans.
Eagle eyed watchers were quick to notice the “hideous” pink and black colour scheme throughout her Weatherfield abode, the medley of wallpaper on the walls, her grey and black sofa, and black leather studded table.
Taking to Digital Spy’s forum, one wrote: “Who the hell decorated Vicky’s house? It absolutely gives me palpitations!! The hideous pink and black, giant boarder panels and then to make it worse the odd wall paper at the top.
“Could this possibly the worse decorated house in a soap?. I just want to tear the monstrosity down every time I see it.”
A separate fan wrote: “Overly-cluttered, badly designed interiors tend to be the norm with Corrie in recent years.”
While others were repulsed by the unsightly fridge, which has a string of photos pinned to the door.
Another wrote: “It’s the fridge that I can’t ignore! Why?!”
As much as some think the decor is too “loud”, others believe it is fitting for Kerri’s character on the programme.
A separate viewer added: “I think it fits her character. Loud and annoying.”
Kerri’s character made her debut on the soap in 2018, which saw her jump to the defence of her son Tyler who was accused of making Simon Barlow’s life difficult.
Vicky swiftly made some enemies of her own as she worked at the Underworld, and was moved to a separate factory.
Vicky was then blamed for Amy Barlow aborting Tyler’s baby by Steve and Tracy McDonald.
Vicky has complicated relationships of her own, as she has been romancing Robert Preston.
But in upcoming episodes Vicky is planning to flee the cobbles with ex Jed, although Robert – who is set to marry Michelle Connor – begs her to stay.
Vicky – who is pregnant with Robert’s baby – tells Robert if he offers her something better she will not move to Ireland.
