They drew first blood. He will draw last blood.
The teaser trailer for this September’s Rambo: Last Blood has finally arrived today, revealing what Sylvester Stallone‘s John Rambo has been up to since we last saw him in 2008. It seems he’s been living a relatively peaceful existence as a cowboy since the gory-as-hell events of Rambo, but of course, that peace will be shattered and he’ll be forced to kill again.
In Last Blood, Rambo faces his past. And he’s damn sure not going down without a fight.
In the fifth installment of the franchise, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Sergio Peris-Mencheta (“Snowfall”) will be playing Rambo’s latest adversary. The actor will play the cartel’s brutal leader, Hugo Martinez.
Yvette Monreal, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada and Joaquin Cosio also star.
Adrian Grunberg directed from a script by Matt Cirulnick and Stallone.
Rambo makes his last stand on September 20, 2019.
