EASTENDERS’ Robbie Jackson will finally return to the BBC One soap with his young son Sami – and a huge secret.
Robbie, who is played by Dean Gaffney, makes his long-awaited return to EastEnders next week when he arrives back in Walford.
And the fan-favourite isn’t alone.
Robbie – who has been in India – is accompanied by his young son Sami as he happily hands out gifts, before he receives a text from ex-wife Nita.
She tells him to enjoy his week with Sami, but Robbie is clearly feeling guilty about something – what’s he hiding?
With things tense over at Dot’s following Bex Fowler’s disappearance, Kush Kazemi offers Robbie and Sami his spare room.
Later, Sonia Fowler – Natalie Cassidy – tries to spend time with Robbie and Sami but is soon left feeling suspicious when she realises her brother lied about his plans with Sami.
She tries to call Nita – with Sami – but an angry Robbie shuts the idea down.
As the week draws to a close Robbie is revelling in spending quality time with Sami.
But later – as he cooks Kush a thank you meal for letting them stay – Robbie ignores another text from Nita and will leave fans wondering what is going on.
Robbie was last seen back in December after being given £500 by Stuart Highway so he could go and visit his son in India.
The kind gesture was a sly move by the villain who was plotting on getting his hands on Dot Branning’s millions.
It was revealed that Robbie would be returning and that he wouldn’t be alone, with Dean teasing his legendary character could have a new love interest with him.
He said: “Robbie has been off in India soul-searching. He’s gone to right some wrongs, cross some T’s and dot some I’s.
“When he comes back, which is not too long now, is he alone? Has he found love?”
Robbie’s return comes after the exciting news that Patsy Palmer would be reprising her iconic role as his sister Bianca Jackson for a short stint later this year.
