Inter Milan will reportedly launch a summer bid for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku – but are willing to give up Ivan Perisic in the process.
Lukaku has talked up a move to Serie A having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the full-time appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.
The Belgian struggled for a place in the starting XI ahead of Marcus Rashford towards the end of the season and hit just 15 goals in all competitions – 12 fewer than his debut campaign with the Red Devils.
And Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport say Inter will launch a £30million bid for the Belgian – plus Perisic.
Perisic scored nine times in 43 appearances in all competitions for Inter in 2018-19 and helped Croatia to the World Cup final last summer.
Any move for Lukaku would also see Everton receive a financial windfall with the Toffees expected to land £5million if their former striker leaves United, or extends his current deal, before June 30 2022.
He left Goodison Park for £75million after hitting 20 goals in three successive campaigns on Merseyside.
Antonio Conte is the hot favourite to take over the Inter hotseat.
The Italian has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last summer amid a compensation wrangle with the Blues.
He is set to pocket £9million-a-year at the San Siro.
