BRITAIN’S Got Talent is gearing up for its live shows.
But when do the semi-finals kick off? And which acts are ones to watch? Here’s the lowdown.
When do the Britain’s Got Talent live shows start?
There isn’t long to go until the semi-finals of BGT get underway.
Unlike the auditions, which are pre-recorded, the last stages of the show are live.
You can catch the live semi-finals from Monday May 27 to Friday 31, 2019.
How do the BGT final shows work?
This Saturday (May 25, 2019) the judges will whittle down the acts that made it through the audition stage.
They will choose their favourites to go through to the week long live shows.
The Golden Buzzer acts automatically go through.
All of the finalists are then are split into five groups (one group per day) of eight acts.
There are two winners from each night – which are voted for by the public – who then go through to the final.
There is also a wildcard chosen by the judges
What BGT acts should you look out for during the semi-finals?
There is already quite a buzz for some of the 2019 Britain’s Got talent acts.
Ones to watch are:
Chapter 13 are a boyband made up of four teenage boys and they are being backed to win the competition.
They have already got a fan base, and Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell both want to manage them after the show ends.
The adorable boys’ audition for Britain’s Got Talent was shown on May 11, 2019 and they sang a Stevie Wonder medley.
They were so good that judge Amanda awarded them her Golden Buzzer which means they go straight through to the live semi-finals.
Flakefeet Primary School Choir
The kids’ choir from Flakefeet Primary school is led by headteacher Dave McPartlin and they are tipped to do well in the competition.
The aspiring singers are aged between 4 and 11 and have a variety of singing abilities.
And they performed an energetic version of Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now for their first audition.

Brave pup Finn was stabbed while trying to save his handler copper Dave Wardell.
The sad tale prompted tough guy Simon to break down in tears, as well as triggering tears from Ant McPartlin.
And it also helped them secure a spot in the next round.
When is the Britain’s Got Talent 2019 final on TV?
The BGT final date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
But as the live finals begin on May 27, the final is likely to be on June 1 or 2.
